Controlling the environmental impact and limiting environmental risks are both a primary responsibility of the management and of every employee of Hotel Stein-Urmond. Care for the environment will be a structural part of and will be related to the other business goals. In order to fulfill this goal, Hotel Stein-Urmond follows the guidelines of “The Green Key”. A European recognized quality mark of the Foundation, Quality Mark for Environment, Safety and Quality.

 

Hotel Stein-Urmond's policy is to: Provide services that meet and respond to the expectations of the guests.

 

Conduct business operations in such a way that the environment is protected and that the safety and health of its employees, guests, suppliers and the public are safeguarded.

 

In order to realize this policy, Hotel Stein Urmond observes the following rules:
Recognize the importance of the environment when business and commercial matters arise.

 

Comply with laws and regulations regarding environmental matters.

 

Educate employees, hold them accountable for policy compliance, and enable employees to overcome obstacles to continuous improvement of environmental performance.

 

Measuring environmental progress through implementation of a monitoring program.

 

Finally, as a result of the policy, our company aims to minimize the production of (residual) waste and to limit the negative influence on the air, water and soil as a result of conducting business operations by means of a effective environmental management system.
